Web Services Coordinator - Office of the Trustees - (19001823)
The Office of the Trustees provides administrative and planning support to the University's Board of Trustees, the Chairman, and board leaders. The office also collaborates closely with the Office of the President and other senior administrative offices on matters of board policy, planning, and implementation of board actions.
The Web Services Coordinator assumes chief responsibility for the electronic gathering, coordinating, coding, posting and disseminating of agendas and documents for meetings of the Board and its committees. Oversees all aspects of the secure trustee website and the public trustee website including coordination with Web Communications, design improvement, site maintenance and updating and troubleshooting. Serves as liaison to offices of senior vice presidents and vice presidents for transmission of meeting documents and provides ongoing training, consulting and troubleshooting services to streamline the document delivery process and assure document quality. Analyzes demographics and results of on-line trustee surveys. Interacts frequently with technical support staff and University Archives to maintain and improve the digital highway document collection system and archiving of materials. Serves as liaison to trustees and committee members regarding matters of access to trustee document portal and online university resources and services. Advises department on hardware, software and applications.
Associate's degree in related area of study.
3-5 year communications, web services and administrative experience.
Strong customer focus.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
Superior written and oral communication skills.
Strong statistical analysis skills for survey and demographic reports.
Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
Strong technical skills and familiarity with technology (hardware, software, web applications, HTML formatting, creating and editing PDF files using Adobe products, WYSIWYG-based web editing tools, creating web forms and surveys either in HTML or 3rd party survey tools, file archive formats (e.g. ZIP), website editing in WordPress).
Special Work Schedule Requirements: Occasional evening work and Saturdays (at least 3 trustee weekends annually), infrequent travel to Boston and Grafton campuses and off-site meeting locations. Ability to work from remote locations and provide meeting support at remote locations.
