Home Building Group Tech (HBG Tech) is looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst to focus and support the implementation of an Oracle ERP (Cloud) System. As the senior business analyst, you will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the HBG Technology team to define business and system processes through workflows and written requirements to support the migration from our legacy system to Oracle ERP Cloud. This will include developing current and future state data and process maps and identifying technical gaps and remediation plans with the new system. This role will primarily focus the Oracle financials and procurement modules, experience with financial and/or procurement systems is desired.
As the Senior IT Business Analyst, you will get to work with many divisions across the company, including the Project Expedition team, HBG Tech, HBG Business, Enterprise Technology Operations (ETO), Data Engineering & Analytics (DEA), as well as others. You will also help coordinate development, implementation, testing, training, and communication efforts by working with the HBG Project Expedition Team.

Work with business stakeholders to learn business processes and gather business requirements
Partner with developers and Solutions Architect to learn legacy system and gather technical requirements
Map processes from current to future state, define business and tech requirements and scope, and proactively champion change to business stakeholders and development teams
Build constructive and effective relationships with business stakeholders and technology teams
Execute projects plans and work with the Product Owner to prioritize backlogs, ensuring project deliverables are met
Break down technical complexities so that they can be easily understood by business units and project stakeholders
Support technology teams in translating business requirements to ensure alignment on development plan
Assist business stakeholders with testing of system changes and analyze data flows for process improvement opportunities
Coordinate and assist with communication, training, and roll-out of new tool
Advocate process changes to improve and support business activities in designing future state of new platforms
Ensure process documentation and configuration rules remain current

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of team members, including managers, technology professionals, and subject matter experts
Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
Experience with process mapping, group facilitation, data gathering and analysis, and phases of project life cycle (requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, training, and measuring effectiveness)
Self-starter that can work effectively within time constraints and changing priorities
Three to five years’ experience as a business analyst or process or product owner
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Including Intermediate in Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint
Experience using Agile methodologies
Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical and business experience
Proven ability to support the transition of a legacy system to cloud-based solutions and introduce new technology features and functionality to user groups
Knowledge of finance and procurement a plus
Intermediate to strong SQL query skills
Experience working with Salesforce, Oracle, or other cloud-based solutions
