As the Senior Manager of Business Solutions, you focus on putting client satisfaction at the center of every project you complete. You empower senior executives from several business units by clearly defining and documenting business needs, objectives, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI) for enterprise-level strategic improvement projects. You participate as part of a cross-functional team that serves as the “Front-Door” for strategic project delivery by ranking and prioritizing incoming projects.

What you will do:
Be the empowering business solutions leader for multiple business units by actively and consistently supporting all efforts to simplify and enhance the client experience.
Drive projects by facilitating communication between business executives and technical solution delivery teams while serving as a trusted business partner.
Prioritize and categorize assigned initiatives using best practices and collaborating with project and program sponsors to generate metrics and team impacts.
Effectively leverage engineering and service delivery teams through the integration of existing and planned initiatives into a cohesive and collaborative approach.
Contribute to solution designs for Engineering and IT delivery teams incorporating cross-disciplinary functions and teams as needed.
Meet defined business objectives through the development of scope documentation, project charters, change requests and proposed business process improvements.
Obtain project approval documents and present initiatives and proposals to sponsors and project teams with business cases, TCO analyses and technical viability.
Support business sponsors through regular communication regarding the status of project definition, approval and prioritization of overall portfolio.
Maximize the team’s performance by determining necessary staffing to support the strategic project management office (SPMO) and implement approved initiatives.
Guide projects towards success by reviewing the design and documentation of supporting business processes and ensure smooth cross-departmental integration.
Manage all components of the functional business, address the defined processes and collaborate with project managers to ensure all requirements and services are fulfilled.
Guide Business Solutions functions by supporting and utilizing the necessary tools and templates.
Enhance the Business Solutions organization by mentoring and coaching team members.
Required keys for success:
Two or more years of business analyst experience or related project management, technical, or business operations experience
Five or more years of business process, information technology and solutions integration engineering experience
Experience in the cable or telecommunications industry
History of providing leadership and direction to cross-functional and virtual teams with a mixture of direct and dotted-line reporting
Proven ability to prioritize and organize projects by defining and using key performance indicators
Confidence when interpreting, documenting, preparing and delivering data-driven presentations to all levels of the organization
Expert in developing strong working relationships with peers and project members
Demonstrated business requirement documentation skills with a keen ability to translate complex business requirements into technical teams
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Fluent in written and spoken English

Experience in a multiservice organization or the telecommunications industry
Proven experience supervising and motivating others
Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience (required)
