TAD is seeking a Project Manager with 5-10 years’ experience to join our audiovisual and media consulting firm. As a Project Manager with TAD, you will be the main support for a Project Principal (PIC) or Senior PM (as experience warrants) in the project management of TAD’s consulting services.
Our services draw from our core competency as technologists, strategists, and designers. The products we deliver include extensive strategy reports, construction and engineering design, graphic design, and digital applications. The position will include, but is not limited to:
Responsibility for orchestrating, maintaining, and executing the delivery and communication of project work in accordance with the terms of the contract, client’s ambitions and TAD’s best practices.
Support the internal project team by maintaining the project management software with realistic schedules, accurate forecasting of future work, and escalation of team concerns related to workflow, coordination, and team member bandwidth to the PIC.
Work to ensure mutual respect and support by maintaining a space for open and productive discussion, providing prompt and constructive feedback and celebrating team successes.
Support the external client and design team as the primary point of contact for all communication; by managing schedules; through the coordination, creation and documentation of meeting agendas and discussions; contextualizing our design process in the larger project calendar; and by ensuring the client’s goals and direction are represented and enacted in all internal and external design discussions.
Support the PIC by maintaining day to day management of the job. Ensure that the PIC is advised on any issue that may impact internal or external relationships, project schedule, project resources, work quality, contracted work, and possible business development.
Provide weekly feedback to the larger project management and operational team in the weekly meeting.
Perform risk management assessments and QC oversight to minimize project risks; for both TAD and Client interests.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation that are in line with TAD’s document standards.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred, but not required.
PMP Certification is preferred, but not required.
5-10 Years’ experience in at least one of the following practices:
Strategy, Construction Design and Implementation, Graphic Design, Application and Software Design
Familiar to fluent in the design principles, documentation, and implementation of both audiovisual engineering and architectural design
Understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies is a plus
Experience with Executive Level Clients and Projects
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational and time-management skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite

The PM is responsible for managing both internal and external coordination with the design team and client and is accountable to the PIC as well as our project management practice lead in weekly briefings. Executing the design documentation and assets are the DA’s. DA’s are directly accountable to the PM’s to ensure projects are on track as are the SME’s who ensure design excellence and provide quality assurance. Underlying all of the project and resource management is TAD’s tool which provides accountability and visibility to all deliverables currently underway and forecasted in the future.¬
