About the Opportunity: Under the supervision of the Director of Operations and Project Management, the Administrative Assistant will provide support to the Vice President and Vice Chancellor of Digital Learning & Mobility Strategy and serve as the primary administrative contact for her department.
Responsibilities: The Administrative Assistant will support the Vice President and Vice Chancellor and her senior team; running their calendars, coordinating all aspects of their meetings, preparing supporting materials, managing correspondence, making travel arrangements, maintaining office supplies, reconciling credit card statements and managing the logistics for special events.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and three to five years of progressively responsible administrative support experience in a fast-paced and service-oriented environment. High degree of diplomacy, customer service and organizational skills required with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Willingness to be pro-active, take initiative and ownership, build win-win situations. Sound judgment and ability to deal effectively with matters of a highly visible and confidential nature is essential. Must be able to handle sensitive material, maintain highest level of confidentiality, multi-task, set priorities and work independently or as part of a team. High degree of proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook and database management.
This position requires a 40 hour standard work week with extended hours regularly required.
