Position Summary: Incumbent establishes objectives and work plans, and delegates assignments. Responsible for managing, preparing, administering, and directing resources. Reviews and approves recommendations for functional programs. Involved in developing, modifying and executing policies that affect immediate operation(s) and may also have enterprise wide effect. Leads and oversees major concurrent complex projects from initiation through implementation. Acquires resources and coordinates the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
Rate Minimum $93,200.00 Maximum $235,400.00
Required Qualifications: 4 plus years of experience managing an information technology organization7-10 years' experience working in project management in an Information Systems environment.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and to analyze and interpret data in order to draw valid conclusions for complex business issuesAbility to effectively plan for and optimally manage resourcesAbility to manage and engage other professionalsAbility to plan strategically, develop objectives and implement tactical plans to achieve desired outcomesAbility to simultaneously manage multiple large projectsAble to translate complex information to a novice level and able to understand the needs of the university and translate that into solutionsAdvanced level knowledge of healthcare financial systems applications to be able to successfully plan and coordinate activities in this area of systems analysis and serve as a key resource to staff and others across the organizationBachelors degree in related area and/or equivalent experience and trainingCertification as a Project Management Professional (PMP)Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
