This is a new role within the Investment Communications team, which will report to the Investment Communications Manager.
Working closely with fund managers and product specialists, you will become a content specialist for a selection of strategies, writing fund updates, engaging thought pieces, advertorials and marketing literature. The writer will also have the opportunity to contribute to Active Minds, Jupiter's weekly client update, and will work closely with digital and social media teams, making tactical use of LinkedIn and Twitter to promote the views of our fund managers.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to contriubute to our evolving content strategy in support of Jupiter's marketing and sales activities in the UK, EMEA and APAC.
Source, write, edit and create articles, advertorials and commentaries to tight deadlines.
Plan and create thought leadership content for Jupiter's clients in the UK and internationally.
In collaboration with the team, pitch ideas for new styles of content and ways to improve how we communicate and engage with our clients.
Contribute to Active Minds, Jupiter's weekly client upate.
Monitor the press for opportunities to use social media to promote Jupiter's fund managers and strategies.
Maintain an awareness of the content output of our competitors.
Write copy to support marketing campaigns and Jupiter's website, including sales fliers, fund brochures, video scripts, web pages and bios, as required.
Support other team members, when necessary, writing and editing articles and commentaries.
Obtain sign off from Compliance on all written material prior to publication in accordance with internal procedures.
Perform administrative duties such as helping to maintain and audit the team's commentary work log and SharePoint site.
The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience of writing about investments within the financial services industry or journalism.
Ability to write to a high standard.
Good communication skills (both verbal and written) are required, together with the ability to be flexible and to work to tight deadlines.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
A good understanding of global financial markets and economics.
Experience of compliance regulations and processes.
IMC an advantage.
