The Role Responsibilities Assisting the Project Manager with the following activities: - Running the country level PSC and working groups - Maintaining an integrated action plan covering all reporting, data, process, infrastructure related activities - Managing, tracking and reporting status of clear, measurable and prioritised actions against compliance requirements or commitments to senior management - Managing and reporting the financials of the project - Managing the periodic self-assessment exercise and providing input to the ratings proposed - Assisting with the engagement of key stakeholders such as the country regulator and audit. Ensuring timely completion of audit related actions. - Handling the request from the country regulator with respect to BCBS239 compliance - Proactively identifying and resolving issues and blockers through clear guidance, prioritisation or escalation - Collaborating with Risk Type Framework Owners and Function Heads to assess the progress made and to ensure completion of residual actions - Identifying synergies and dependencies across deliverables both within the project and across other country level initiatives to ensure optimal solutions and sequencing of actions - Setting up the appropriate governance process for the Bank in fulfilling with BCBS239 requirements - Assisting / coordinating the timely approval and governance of projects and change requests - Provide high level support and guidance to countries within the region for their implementation of BCBS239 requirements - Acting as the primary point of contact to the Group level BCBS239 programme team
Our Ideal Candidate · Educated to degree level · No specific banking or technical qualifications required · Working knowledge on business modeling, excellent numeric and data manipulation skills · Excellent organisation skills
· Excellent analytical skills · Ability to communicate among different stakeholders within the Bank, including executives in various countries as well as from the Group
· Ability to interface with regulators under guidance of relevant accountable executives
