The Faculty of Healthcare Management and Program Coordinator will oversee the program operations of the MCPHS University Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management located on the Boston campus. The incumbent will report to the Dean of the School of Healthcare Business and assume an active role within the school serving on committees, developing, teaching, and delivering graduate and undergraduate courses.Responsibilities:Candidates will be expected to: Teach and/or participate in teaching and development of bachelors and masters courses, including in the MBA program as well as dual-degree programs, as required Manage the operations of the Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management program Engage in scholarship appropriate for assigned faculty rank Serve on departmental, school, and university-wide committees, including the school curriculum committee, and academic standing review Coordinate the development, implementation, and dissemination of program policies and procedures in harmony with existing school and university policies Participate in continuous assessment and improvement activities for the BS in Healthcare Management and other school programs Partner with appropriate offices to monitor student performance, progress, and establish connections with student support opportunities where necessary Recruit, develop, and supervise adjunct faculty with required subject matter expertise Provide academic advising and career mentoring to BS students Provide routine progress reports and updates to school and University administration Develop, organize, and perform program self-studies and evaluations as required Work with the Office of Admission and Marketing to recruit students Represent the school and program to external audiences, including potential students, parents, and employers Participate in Admission events, including open houses, presentations, and other school and program eventsAdditional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor. Rank is commensurate with education and experience.Qualifications:Required: Master's degree in business or closely related field, and a minimum of two years teaching experience.
