Salem Health is looking for its next Infection Prevention Manager!
The Infection Prevention Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining programs to prevent infections affecting patients, visitors, and members of the healthcare team. This position will be expected to ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and guidelines. If you meet the requirements listed below, we want to hear from you!

What you’ll need:
Requires BSN Degree – Master’s Degree preferred.
Bachelor of Arts in Nursing is also accepted.
Will consider non-nursing Bachelor’s Degree with MSN.
Three (3) years minimum acute care RN experience required.
Two (2) years minimum progressive management experience in infection prevention required.
Unencumbered Oregon RN license required.
Previous experience in infection prevention/occupational health preferred.
AONE or ANCC Nurse Executive Certification required within one (1) year of eligibility.
Infection Control Certification (CIC) required or obtained within two (2) years of hire.
Experience in Lean methodology, performance improvement.
Project management, critical thinking, and team facilitation skills.
Regularly reviews professional journals, national guidelines, standards, and regulations related to infection prevention and employee health to keep knowledge current.
