Partner with clients to develop a trusted relationship
Work with business and technical organizations to assemble project teams and drive program strategy
Organize, plan, and maintain project roadmap consisting of cross-functional activities
Acquire an understanding of the business objectives for an assigned area
Leverage technical and business acumen and to effectively solve problems and propose solutions
Work with an executive sponsor and a business owner and others, to achieve program objectives, develop project plans, manage project schedules, scope, risk, issues, and budget
Lead client as well as consulting teams to deliver business and technology project objectives
Adhere to predictable communication schedules
Manage projects with direct accountability to Executive Management
Monitor, evaluate and report on Program status inclusive of scope, schedule, budget, and alignment to program and strategic goals.
Set and re-evaluates project priorities frequently
Cultivate and rely on informal networks inside and outside to resolve problems
Direct corrective action as needed to maintain the viability of the program
Deliver presentations of project status to effectively communicate throughout the project lifecycle
Leverage project management best practices and domain knowledge
Establish on-going communication to share with key stakeholder’s issues & improvement recommendations throughout the life of the project
Work with a multi-dimensional project team, consisting of people from across all parts of the organization, its departments and respective geographies
Develop and execute training, mentoring and support materials to help others apply best practices
Education – Bachelor's degree in Information Sciences or related field
PMI CAPM, PMI-ACP, PMP Certification a plus but not required
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) helpful but not required
Proven expertise in MS Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Visio
Experience in navigating SharePoint
Experience managing projects using Agile/Scrum
Manage project costs, scope, risks and issues
Experience with customer relationship management, presentation skills, negotiation skills, experience with conflict resolution, experience with risk mitigation planning.
Health care insurance industry knowledge a plus
