Involves developing digital communications when communications knowledge, rather than Information Technology knowledge, is paramount. Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced digital communications professional to design, layout and produce for a variety of routine and non-routine, and moderately complex digital applications; ensure search engine optimization; and develop social media email campaigns. Demonstrates a full understanding of industry practices and organization policies and procedures. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Under general direction of the Director of Business Communications, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for web, social media and digital marketing communications in a fast-paced, startup-like business environment with multiple deadlines and conflicting priorities. The Digital Marketing Specialist ensures timely delivery and quality of all digital marketing deliverables, and is responsible for the management and creation of processes that streamline efforts surrounding digital media creation and delivery. Stays current with emerging and state-of-the-art technical and other web-related equipment, requirements and developments and recommends and as directed, takes action to ensure compliance.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will produce, manage and measure digital marketing activities such as, but not limited to, the company website, social media, email campaigns, web analytics and SEO, Google AdWords and other digital marketing efforts.
The Digital Marketing Specialist works closely with other Marketing personnel, vendors, and staff and stakeholders in other departments. Takes on special projects as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of design and user experience, including skill to design in an appealing, lively and relevant way.

Thorough skills to develop and implement original ideas and correctly identify and effectively solve problems.
