Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Project Manager to work in the Rutgers School of Health Professions, Department of Health Informatics and Rutgers Institute for Translational Medicine. This position will coordinate projects and initiatives related to clinical and translational workforce development in NJ ACTS, and NIHCTSA Hub. Additional support program activities include working as a Teaching Assistant and coordinating Captsone Contracts in the Clinical Trial Sciences (CTS) Program, which may include assisting in the development of internship programs, manage internship application process and request and track progress reports.
Maintains the Workforce Core web portal.
Evaluates the needs and readiness of the NJ ACTS workforce, collecting and applying common metrics, preparing summary reports of program outcomes and assisting with the development of competency based education materials.
Implements project plans, tracks tasks and deliverables, resolves and escalates issues in a timely fashion.
Participates in annual performance evaluations.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a Life Science or Biomedical Science discipline.
Demonstrated six (6) years of experience in Clinical Research.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Project Management experience required.
Master’s Degree in Clinical Research and/or experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator is preferred.
Salary: Maximum offer - up to $65,000.00/yr.
