We are looking for a Graphic Designer to work at our Corporate office in Brentwood, TN ! If you possess a “whatever it takes attitude” keep reading. It’s hard to pinpoint a “typical” day here (and who wants typical anyway?), but as the Graphic Designer, you will function as a key team member within the Marketing and Communications department to help articulate the Premise Health brand story to internal and external audiences through design. This role will be responsible for day-to-day graphic design requests including a wide range of marcomm materials, such as sales and product slicks, brochures, print ads, banners, PowerPoint presentations, event materials; interactive materials, such as videos, infographics, digital ads, email templates, landing pages; and other varying requests under the direction of the Vice President of Marketing and Communications and Marketing Manager. Prior agency experience is a plus. What You’ll Do for Us: Works closely with all members of the Marketing and Communications team to brainstorm, design and produce a variety of creative multimedia graphics, print collateral, digital assets and videos to fulfill overall business objectives. Strategically define and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts to support the marketing, branding, and communications efforts of multiple lines of service (e.g., Primary Care, Fitness, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, etc.) Actively participates in brainstorming/concept development sessions and translates top level, large scale marketing concepts and initiatives into tangible creative. Plays a key role in helping to preserve a consistent look-and-feel throughout the design and development of marketing materials and protects existing approved brand guidelines in all creative development. Organize and archive all creative files developed under the approved shared file-naming system. Frequently work with vendors, outside agencies, and various internal departments in the collaboration, ideation and development of various marketing projects. Lead project management of graphic design initiatives under the direction of the Marketing Manager. Manage print production of design projects (internal and external) and web graphic initiatives (social media, banner ads, etc.). Recommends techniques best suited to produce desired visual effects to achieve required results. Collaborate with marketing and communications team, as well as internal departments on strategy/branding projects and recommend/provide the best design solutions for specific needs. Maintain, curate and organize stock photo and iconography libraries. Education: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, advertising or related field or equivalent work experience. Experience: 3-5 years related work experience; brand management and corporate identity background preferred. Healthcare experience helpful but not required. Knowledge and Skills: Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite as most clients and team members are PC users. Portfolio/website demonstrating graphic design principles and technical expertise for print and web - experience designing websites, brochures, logos, style guides, brand identity, iconography, environmental graphics, signage, event collateral, etc. Ability to utilize design background with marketing experience to create, improve and optimize content for internal and external audiences. Highly creative with the ability to interpret ideas, needs or concepts and deliver design that visually communicates the message effectively. Understands and stays up-to-date on current design trends and techniques. Accuracy and attention to detail when finalizing designs and packaging files for print or archiving purposes. Good working knowledge of the print process with experience providing accurate project specs for print vendors and ability to attend press approvals as necessary. Independent, organized worker who is able to set priorities, establish timelines and manage a wide range of projects with minimal supervision.
