Your Role This role at Deloitte within the Risk Advisory practice is an opportunity exists for an Associate Director to become an integral part of the Capital Markets team in London. The team sits within our Risk Advisory practice and works closely with corporate finance to deliver a cross service line equity capital markets offering. The team has ambitious growth plans over the next few years and is looking for candidates with enthusiasm to develop their transaction experience. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting credentials, excellent project management skills and an ability to work efficiently and flexibly. Any transaction experience, experience in the reporting accountant role and/or experience in auditing listed clients would be helpful although is not necessary.
Project planning and management on a variety of capital market engagements;
Report drafting on a variety of equity capital market engagements;
Working closely with audit, tax and corporate finance teams to deliver on various IPO and other equity capital market work streams;
Extensive liaison with clients both face to face and via telephone;
At times, working to tight deadlines, often requiring prioritisation of numerous concurrent project deadlines and requirements;
Supporting the team in producing proposals for future projects; and
Business development such as networking both internally across Deloitte's service lines, and also externally with current and potential future clients.

Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
ACA qualified or equivalent qualification
Expertise in PCAOB and or US GAAP
Excellent oral and written communication
Proven planning and project management skills
Excellent networking and influencing skills
The ability to travel to client sites, including some overseas travel, as required by this position
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
