This is a full-time position with the possibility of extension based on funding, working as a librarian for RDMLA (Research Data Management Librarian Academy), an initiative managed by Harvard Medical School. This position will report to the Director and Chief Administrative Officer of the Countway Library and be primarily responsible for the design and implementation of new Research Data courses establishment of CE programs in conjunction with Simmons University as well as the overall coordination and execution of project team meetings. This role will also be responsible for conducting usability testing of existing courses and make appropriate changes based on usability results. Additionally, the RDMLA Librarian will manage the collection of usage data, analyze patterns of use and conduct applicable learning analytics. This position will also be responsible for designing and implementing marketing materials, present RDMLA data and findings at conferences, teach classes, and conduct outreach sessions on data management and usability testing for online learning; design and maintain project-related documents, marketing materials, project files, and research data, as well as managing the design, content and maintenance of the RDMLA web site. Solicit new RDMLA faculty and partners who can develop and design new online classes; instruct and educate new faculty regarding the Canvas network and course development programs. Serve as a liaison between the IT course development team, the instructional team and the RDML project team.
Assist in establishing a long-term vision and framework for future directions.
This is a term position through December 31, 2020, with potential for renewal.

Union: 00 - Non Union, Exempt or Temporary
Master's of Library Science or equivalent relevant graduate degree required. 2 or more years' experience in a library setting, preferably an academic health science library.
Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong organizational skills. Experience in metadata, public services, usability, and text processing. As well as familiarity with project management concepts and grant processing.
