Per Diem- Night Shift
As a per diem Imaging Administrative Specialist in our reading room (Imaging) at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will work under the direction of the Manager, Supervisor, and/or Coordinator, the Administrative Specialist for PACS will assure the timely provision of all relevant prior film and digital images for radiologist interpretation and physician review. The Administrative Specialist for RIS will assure the integrity and availability of information data transmitted between transcription vendor system and the department information system (Radiant). Additionally, the Admin Specialist will provide support to the Reading Room, providing heavy support to radiologists, visiting physicians and imaging technologists. These functions will be performed with a continual emphasis on workflow process improvement, increased productivity, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include the effective use of all relevant computer systems (PACS/Radiant) and telecommunications equipment, including desk phones, cellular phones, and pagers. Consistent application of customer service excellence, communication, and interaction techniques. Maintains competency skills including the ability to interact with diverse cultural backgrounds. Appropriate interpersonal skills for interacting with peers, patients, physicians, and other customers of the Medical Center. Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
