DUTIES: - Serve as a SR. Application Developer by performing analysis, designing, coding, developing and supporting the applications using C#, VB, .Net, SQL, Oracle, SSIS and SSRS. - Develop and support web service and mobile applications. - Develop methods to interchange data between SUNY, Lawson, Eagle, Allscripts EMR and other systems. - Design and develop warehouse for use in developing reporting services for the enterprise. - Investigate, evaluate, troubleshoot, and resolve ETL Process/Scheduled Jobs issues in Clinical, financial and other applications. - Provide strong technical expertise in application development and support using C#, VB, .Net, and Java Script programming. - Develop, build, test and support for Application Programming Interface (API) including User Interface. - Estimate time required to complete programming assignments. - Work closely with other Developers and management on software development and deployment issues. - Identify new features and capabilities to enhance applications and user adoption. (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABOVE POSITION DESCRIPTION) QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree in Science, Computer Science, Engineering or related business degree combined with at least seven years' experience in a similar role preferably in Healthcare Technology department. - 7 + years of experience in application development and support. - 4+ years of developing experience for Web Services application using MS, .Net and Java Script; and mobile application development using MS Xamarin and C# or Java/Swift. - 4+ years of technical working experience in supporting data interchange and ETL Process/Scheduled Job issues using SQL, Oracle, SSIS and SSRS. - Experience with development and support for application Programming Interface (API) including User Interface. - Experience in debugging problems in applications and ETL processes in application programs both. - Consultative approach to solving complex integration problems. - Ability to see the big picture and recommend strategies based on detailed understanding of current state as well as future direction. - Supervisory and mentoring skills to manage the work of analysts. - Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle. - Strong analytical and communication skills. - Preferred: Experience and familiarity with Healthcare Provider platforms and technologies. Experience with Mobile App development. HL7 programing knowledge.
