Ohio University’s Change Management and Communication department is seeking a qualified applicant for the Director, Change Management and Communications position.

The Director, Change Management and Communication will allocate staff resources to initiatives and provide oversight/support to ensure successful execution of the project; support campus end-users through mechanisms for feedback and effective change management; Support the evaluation, selection and execution of strategic initiatives for the division; provide communication support to the division.
Duties will include: 1. Evaluate department staff workload and deploy resources to support identified initiatives; partner with functional leaders to define roles within initiatives; ensure department staff are meeting deadlines and expectations; provide support to the execution of deliverables 2. Support division communication efforts, including: annual report creation; website governance; drafting communications; partnering with division leaders in creation of communication plans 3. Support campus end-users through mechanisms for communication and feedback, including the Business Forum, RC Strategy, partner groups, and change networks 4. Support the evaluation and selection of division initiatives; partner with VPFA leadership to understand their goals; evaluate resources, costs and time required in the successful execution of initiatives 5. Maintain division standards and methodologies for project management, communication, change management, and training
Supervises work of others.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business or related field; a minimum of eight (8) years of work related experience; a minimum of three (3) years of work related management experience; knowledge of Change Management Practices (PROSCI), Project Management Practices (PMBOK, Agile and Waterfall, ITIL), Adult learning theory/models (Gange, ADDIE) are required; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Analysis or Communications.
