ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, FOUNDATION RELATIONS , Resource Development-Office of Foundation Relations (OFR) , be responsible for four major sets of activities, under the direction of the director of Foundation Relations. Will manage donor relations and stewardship, operation systems and process, and research and production of reports and communications; and assist with activities related to senior fund-raisers' portfolios. Will also manage one foundation relations coordinator including hiring, training, and professional development; and assist with project planning and process and quality control of OFR's overall operations functions.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : bachelor's degree; at least two years of development experience and up to one year of supervisory experience; strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills; a high degree of organization and attention to detail; and demonstrated ability to initiate and manage projects, keep multiple projects on track simultaneously and within deadlines, and work both independently and as a team member; a high degree of tact and discretion. Familiarity with prospect research methods and tools preferred; as is experience in an academic setting, ideally focusing on private foundations. Experience in project management is desired.
