*IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not an IT-type job, but more akin to those who have Facilities Management support experience. This position is on the CAR (Common Area Reset) Team and will support client workspace productivity.
The Common Area Reset Project Coordinator will execute all tasks required to plan and supervise completion of assigned building reset and condition inspections of Common Area furniture, including conference/other meeting rooms and lounge areas. This
position oversees a team who are in the Supported Employment Program. The Project Coordinator will also follow up on all inspection findings to maintain Common Areas to client standards and communicate any trends and feedback on furniture usage and performance. The Project Coordinator will complete other client projects as assigned to assist in Common Area Furniture needs to support client workspace productivity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Executes regularly scheduled building inspections
Creates schedules and delegates assignments to team for completion. Transports team between buildings. Plans work to minimize occupant disruption and maximize efficiency. Completes QA audits for accuracy. Communicates team directives from PM. Manages a portfolio of assigned buildings.
Data analysis & follow-up work
Arranges for furniture cleaning and specialty repairs with third-party vendors. Submits facilities requests for internal repair team to complete. Collects information for warranty claim submittal. Creates plans for locating missing items and replaces missing items when unrecovered. Notes patterns in furniture movement and works with client to resolve.
Works closely with various furniture teams, facility managers, move planning teams, and occupancy planning teams to achieve productive client workspace
Emails and informs various stakeholders when applicable. Receives move plan data to reset common areas for incoming occupants. Connects client to occupancy planning team to initiate projects when need is identified.
Completes client non-standard furniture projects
Communicates with client on non-standard furniture requests for needs, quantities, types, etc. Provides selections from the warehouse catalog. Processes service requests and arranges delivery of selected items.
Works closely with Project Manager
Reports building trends and shares relevant issues. Provides feedback on team performance. Works to build and advance processes and leverages data to improve furniture management for the client. Collaborates to improve and innovate team processes to maximize efficiency and delivery to client
Leads a Team of Supported Employment Program participants
The Microsoft Supported Employment Program makes a substantial difference in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who might otherwise be overlooked in the job market. Project Coordinators will direct, and coach team members recruited through this program.
ADDITIONAL SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position oversees a team who are in the Supported Employment Program.
Current Driver's License

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Associate's Degree (AA/AS) , College Diploma in Architecture or Engineering Technology or equivalent preferred. Minimum of one year(s) of related experience.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite products.
