Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine (GCSOM) is searching for a Senior Systems Analyst/Liaison who will report to and receive general direction from the Director of Accounting & Business Operations in conjunction with the VP of Finance and Administration/CFO. This position provides leadership and support for the assigned information system including the review, development and implementation of identified systems applications, specifically the student information system; serves as primary contact and liaison between assigned operational departments and identified software and other IT-related products at the school; provides project management on assigned projects; coordinates with other applicable departments/personnel and IT personnel who have related responsibilities at the school; and performs duties to support the goals and objectives of GCSOM in its efforts to provide quality services and student satisfaction.
A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, computer science or a related field is required in addition to a minimum of six years’ experience in a systems application/user support role; two years’ experience with leading project teams and/or task groups; advanced report-writing skills; knowledge of programming, design and analysis; detail operational and processing knowledge; development of procedures; defining user requirements; excellent communication skills; and student information application knowledge and experience. Master’s degree in a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
