We have an opportunity for a creative, detail-oriented, entrepreneurial, and hardworking candidate to join AEI’s Events team. The Events team is responsible for more than 400 annual events, including special events such as the AEI World Forum and AEI Annual Dinner (a large, black-tie event). This position is responsible for assisting policy scholars and their staff with events planning and execution and assisting in the planning and production of special annual events.
The ideal candidate will be happy in a fast-paced, demanding, team-oriented environment and also comfortable taking initiative and working independently. The ability to multitask and handle diverse projects and deadlines is a must. Superior communication skills and a high degree of discretion are also required. Day-to-day responsibilities include database management, metrics analysis, event invitations, management of guest RSVPs, and event logistics and execution. HTML, graphic design, and database skills are a plus.
