Job Summary: Under the general direction of the Executive Director for Risk and Safety Solutions, act as the Customer Success and Service Desk Manager providing leadership and guidance to those teams and the department in the areas of customer success, training and service.
Provide leadership to the Customer Success and Service Desk teams, who serve as a liaison between the customers, product management and the product development teams, providing analysis, support, and training to over 100,00 system users, across all 10 UC Campuses, 5 Medical Centers and over 23 external customers, in the area of Risk Services and Environmental Health and Safety.
Physical Demands: Work on a personal computer for extended periods of time.
Work Environment: Work in a busy office with constant interruptions and distractions, and constant traffic and noise from telephone conversations, visitors, staff, etc. Employee is personally responsible for following health and safety guidelines/instructions.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Extensive customer service experience in the information technology industry, working directly with high-profile customers and providing direction to customer service leads.
Experience marketing and implementing large scale complex software systems that span multiple campuses and multiple departments.
Leadership qualities and organizational skills as well as the skill to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles.
Communication, presentation, negotiation, relationship building, collaboration and conflict resolution skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Supervisory experience in organizations with multiple agile teams.
Experience with end-to-end software development lifecycle.
Extensive experience in overall project management and/or development experience with working knowledge of various methodologies and processes.
Extensive experience of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures.
Extensive experience in managing projects for which there was an agile application development methodology was enforced.
