The successful candidate will have a quantitative background with experience of model risk management. Knowledge of the regulatory requirements regarding IRB models and experience of using, developing, validating or governing such models is essential.

As a Manager - Model Risk Governance & Control your main responsibilities will be
Working with the senior manager to implement an effective suite of model risk controls.
Supporting the evolution of model risk reporting, reviewing trends and providing commentary for BAU and ad-hoc reports for audiences up to and including Board.
Identifying and tracking current and emerging 'top model risks.
Ensuring that models are managed in line with the agreed risk appetite.
Supporting the embedding of a model risk culture through the creation of governance documents, training material and worked examples and assisting in the delivery of internal training workshops.
The role holder will also assist in the co-ordination and challenge of the annual CRR attestation.
Minimum skills and experience required:
Experience in an IRB model role.
Degree level education in a numerical subject or equivalent industry experience.
Stakeholder engagement skills.
Sound communication and presentation skills.
Experience working in a regulatory environment.
