The global CIB Learning & Development team addresses talent management and development, performance management, diversity, change management, leadership and management training, professional and technical skills training. The team may undertake research to assess and diagnose issues, and then design and implement solutions. These may include programs, off-sites, training sessions, communications and events. The scale may be global, such as with training programs rolled out across the CIB, or individual, such as coaching a senior manager. All this is achieved with the active partnership of the business and our HR Business Partner colleagues.
This Associate level role consists support for the CIB L&D team, working in close partnership with the global training and development leads within the CIB as well as the CLOs of the Firm. There will also be some projects for other lines of business outside of the CIB, or that span across the Firm.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, partnering with Development Managers, HRBPs and clients on:
Taking an active role to manage strategic LOB & CIB wide initiatives including Talent Reviews, Diversity & Inclusion programs, employee network groups, program feedback strategy, Performance Management strategy and implementation, and specific Organizational Development activities for Investor Services
Will assist the business in defining diversity plans to build a robust workforce and inclusive environment
Provide support to CIB diversity networks: including program management, assisting with skills based training, communications and event planning
Provide support for the annual performance management cycle including objective setting, mid-year reviews, year-end reviews and associated communications
Providing data analytics support to determine recommendations around people initiatives including the Employee Opinion Survey, promotion radar and eligibility decisions, and annual MD promotion cycle activities
Driving cyclical Organizational Development processes and data requests, including: performance management agenda, employee opinion survey reports, and ad hoc workforce analytics reports - identifying ways to improve processes and summarize data to influence ongoing people agenda strategy
Leading the deployment and maintenance of the CIB firm-wide Business of Inclusion Diversity e-learning program for all new hires
Working on executing multiple talent review deliverables for constituents including succession planning, senior level mobility, developing top and diverse talent, and promotion radar/eligibility selection
Educated to Bachelor's or Master's Degree level - preferred
Ideally 3+ years of experience in L&D area
Fluent command of English language
Must be detailed oriented and analytical
Data analysis skills
Strong Project management skills
Strong PowerPoint and Excel knowledge
Ability to compose communications fluently
Strong work ethic with desire to produce high quality and consistent work
Knowledge of training and development and Human Resources a plus
Understanding of and navigating a large corporate environment
Understanding of the Financial Services industry
Creativity and ability to problem solve
Strong presentation skills
