The Treasury Manager will join the Capital Markets function of HP's Corporate Treasury Group. This influential team is responsible for key aspects of HP's overall financial strategy, including capital structure, issuance of debt, share repurchase, structured financing, interest rate risk management and credit rating agency relations. The Treasury Manager will work with talented cross functional teams in Legal, Tax, Accounting and the business teams and have a large impact on the company trajectory. He/she will gain valuable experience in a position with significant responsibility and interaction with senior management as well as considerable opportunity to grow into other roles within and outside Global Treasury.
Role and Responsibilities:
Direct HP's debt issuance and interest rate risk management strategy
Capital structure planning and company-wide strategic integration of capital investment alternatives/uses
Evaluate the economics of complex financial strategies, potentially presenting to CFO Staff
Run HP’s share repurchase program including valuation, program strategy and implementation, and potential direct interaction with the Treasurer and CFO
Communicates with senior managers to deliver guidance and desired results for Treasury programs
Is accountable for impact analysis of treasury initiatives and the financial and legal outcomes of programs; contributes to treasury program design
Proactively identify areas for focus and produce persuasive, data-driven arguments to support good decisions
Develop analytical tools and financial models to support decision making
Updates and maintains Treasury policies and procedures
Supports Treasury program delivery through practical application of complex subject matter knowledge with limited guidance
Leads Treasury Projects of moderate/high complexity including project management support
Qualifications and Education Requirements
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma, preferably with a business, finance, and scientific major
An MBA or CFA is desired
10+ years related experience in large corporate treasury (prior capital markets execution experience highly preferred), FP&A, and/or banking preferred
Advanced communication, leadership, consulting, influence, and negotiation skills
Exceptional financial and business acumen
Experience with financial planning and derivatives
Excellent project management, problem solving, strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, and the ability to execute a project within the scope of overall strategies
Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
