Reporting to the Senior Director of Revenue Cycle Management, the Director of Accounts Receivable is responsible for directing, coordinating and planning the accounts receivable departments policies, goals and objectives. It will provide daily oversight and leadership of the Colleges accounts receivable team. The incumbent will also support the Colleges accounts receivable strategy to ensure College targets are met.
Required Education: BS/BA in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.
Preferred Education: Masters degree in Business, Accounting, Healthcare Administration or related field
Required Experience: 7 years of relevant experience, including experience managing staff.
Preferred Experience: Experience working at a large dental or medical facility.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent project management skills, advanced Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word and PowerPoint) skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with staff and patients, and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
