Duties for this position will include working as part of the team to support the audio-visual and digital communication needs of the School of Art.
Overseeing the circulation and management of media equipment in the School of Art Media Pool. Developing and maintaining an efficient and robust check-out system to track demand for and use of equipment. The duties also include: keeping detailed records, maintaining and updating inventory, tracking needs to replace expendable items, as well as the circulation of this equipment to student and faculty users, facilitating routine check-outs and returns, and providing guidance on equipment to best support creative projects in the School of Art.
Coordinating with the Instructional Technologist to support the audio-visual media instruction and projects of students, faculty, and other School of Art personnel.
Working with the Communications Specialist to manage the School of Art website, social media accounts, and the promotion of School of Art news. Duties include: managing and tracking School of Art news and best practices to promote this news, initiating cross-communication to update and publish news and calendar items, designing website content and organization, creating and editing digital files, implementing directed edits and changes in a timely manner. This includes both daily and weekly tasks.
Working on special projects during the summer and other duties as assigned.
