Job Description Summary
Located in San Francisco, the Coordinator for Penn Wharton Entrepreneurship (PWE) is responsible for overseeing the logistical arrangement, management and execution of strategically important Penn Wharton Entrepreneurship programs and projects.
This position is located in San Francisco, CA.Â Interested candidates must either reside locally or be willing to relocate at their own expense.
This position intersects with multiple other constituent departments that partner with PWE, the PWE Philadelphia team, as well as with teams on the SF campus, including Events, MBA Program for Executives, and Wharton SF operations. The Coordinator is part of the core team that makes PWE programming possible on the San Francisco campus and has a direct role in executing strategically important programs and events, including the logistical execution of the Venture Initiation Program in SF (VIP-SF), Scale School, Entrepreneurship boot camp, Wine Chats, B-School Disrupt, Alumni Dinners, and Angel Day. This position also will serve as liaison between PWE and guest advisors/speakers, faculty, students and alumni, and is responsible for data analytics, analysis of program KPIs and preparation of related reports, CRM data integrity and management, speaker request process, program and event marketing and registration, maintenance of Â website content for PWE programs, e-mailbox and calendar and expense tracking and reporting. Position requires some early morning and evening hours.
Position is contingent on funding. Â
Bachelors degree and 3-5 years of experience (e.g. program/events management, project management) or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management, including the ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete multiple projects within deadlines. Ability to independently take initiative and work efficiently. Ability to work effectively under pressure and demonstrate problem-solving skills, while maintaining courtesy, professionalism, and a positive attitude. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to use technology effectively. Experience with Adobe CC (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop) helpful.
