Position Summary: Come join our dynamic team of highly skilled IT professionals as we build, implement and support one of the largest PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 implementations. The UC Office of the President is actively seeking a IT Change Coordinator to support this critical project with enterprise-wide impact across all the campuses / medical centers and the Office of the President at all levels.
Here you will have the ability to make a difference and have a real influence in how we can best manage and support this large implementation.
We are looking for a strong self starter who is passionate about tracking and coordinating change across this massive Enterprise environment hosted at Oracle Managed Cloud Services (OMCS) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Desired candidate posses excellent project management coordination skills and the ability to track and guide various deployments and changes across numerous environments and platforms while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The candidate will be able to apply expert level skills in all aspects of project coordination and serve as a focal point for facilitating the progress of IT and Application Change Requests through the change management process.

Job Close Date:
Meets with functional owners and service providers to determine change requirements and priorities.
Develop intake policy and process that provides a transparent priority ranking schedule for all changes.
Work closely with change implementation, third party vendors and associated end users to plan, schedule, and execute changes; identify time, conflicts, and risks associated with requested changes. Work with functional teams and service providers to resolve all conflicts.
Provide communication to the business and IT about the status of any and all change requests from planning, implementation, and completion status. Create and publish reports of scheduled and planned changes as needed.
Develop and create standard processes to oversee and manage all production changes to the UCPath and associated environments on premise, at system wide campus locations, or hosted at OMCS, Inflight, or Saleforce.
Review and enhance processes that analyze and categorize change requests and determine the type of approval needed.
Job Requirements Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
At least 5+ years of experience working in a change control or analyst role within several IT domains. Required
Knowledge/Skills: A solid understanding of change management principles and methodologies.
Highly developed problem solving skills.
Possesses and displays excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to work independently and convey information to IT & Business partners in a clear, focused and concise manner.
Demonstrated ability to work with others from diverse backgrounds.
Self-motivated and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to learn new processes/procedures quickly and ability to meet time sensitive deadlines. Required
Able to work flexible hours and provide 24x7 on call support as needed.
Advanced knowledge of business processes and procedures.
