The ColumbiaDoctors FPO Operations Management Specialist works closely with Operations Leadership to provide project management, technical support and analytical decision support for programs and projects in support of organizational goals. This position is responsible for assisting with new practice space projects, planning/implementing new initiatives, providing central service support to clinical departments and practice-related technology projects. This role is highly visible and interfaces with department leadership, managers, staff, and providers in the provision of an efficient, exceptional patient experience.
Lead or co-lead projects to add value and improve ColumbiaDoctors FPO Operations' ability to support and be a resource to faculty practice departments (for example: implementation of new patient self check-in technology).
Participate in new space projects for administrative and/or clinical space to support incremental or strategic growth, including operational management of space buildouts.
Research, propose, and develop tools to gauge performance, assess performance against benchmarks and support the formulation of goals to improve performance.
Support practice-related technology projects and assist with implementation in faculty practice locations. Liaise with vendors to maintain an efficient and effective relationship.
Prepare ad hoc reports and/or presentations for Operations and/or Management to understand operational challenges or issues; present to Operations, Management, and Administration as needed.
Provide operational support to clinical and administrative locations managed by ColumbiaDoctors FPO.
Conduct space surveys of clinical and administrative spaces and maintain space use records. Provide space use reports to Executive Space and Facilities Committee.
Performs other job duties as required and assigned.

Requires a bachelor's degree in healthcare or business related field or equivalent in education and experience, plus three years of related experience.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, telephone and written communication skills in the English language

Proficiency in Microsoft Power Point and Excel
Master's degree preferred.
