Patient Portal team at MSK is responsible for developing our homegrown portal which is used by new and ongoing patients. This platform enables the institution to share a wealth of information with the patients. Patients can access their appointment, lab results, message their doctors and attend virtual/video visits. MSK currently has a web Portal along with iOS and Android apps.
As our Senior .Net Programmer: you will help with the development of new features and maintenance of our portal application.
Be responsible for full development life cycle of complex projects requiring integration to other systems including analysis, design, programming, implementation and support. Provides technical leadership for development projects. Internal consultant for fellow team members. Provides innovative solutions when presented with a complex business or production issue. Assures code meets required performance standards. Responsible for all project planning and coordination including keeping project timeline on track and managing users' and management's expectations.
Additionally, you are responsible for performing analysis, design, development, testing, documentation and implementation of clinical research-wide data solutions including visualizations that provide insight into the conduct of (CR), implementation of new systems and integration of existing systems to improve the efficiency and quality of clinical research conducted at MSK.
Experience in developing web pages using at least one frontend framework (e.g., Vue JS (preferred), angular, react, knockout)
Experience coding unit tests using xUnit, moq or NUnit and NMock
Demonstrated ability in working in DevOps culture.
Willingness and desire to seek new challenges and learn whatever new technology is necessary to accomplish the task
Through understanding of systems architecture and ability to design systems.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate code and follow development standard methodologies
Dedication to continuous improvement around coding standards, code organization, and Object-Oriented development
Experience working as part of an Agile team.
Experience in MS Visual Studio and Visual Studio debugging environment
Experience using TFS (Git) as source safe and for project management
Experience working in a Health care organization
Experience with cloud deployments (AWS, Azure)
Using containers (Docker).
