We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Research Scientist with Medical and clinical research knowledge to build and maintain professional relationships with investigators and other external stakeholders and ability to collaborate and lead high performing cross-functional teams also in a virtual environment.
The Research Scientist is responsible for the following duties: - Facilitate projects and core team meetings, cross-functional communication and decision making, ensuring alignment between project teams, functional areas, internal and external stakeholders - Keep track of action-items and follow up - Work with Strategic Industry Ventures to develop project plans and Grant for partnered projects and liaise with their counterparts in BioPharma to ensure successful execution of collaborative projects - Deliver consistent and high-quality project management services to enable team and project success
The candidate is required to have knowledge and skills with qualitative, quantitative imaging analysis, imaging processing and machine-learning techniques to evaluate tumor metrics for treatment response and apply radiomic texture analysis codes. The candidate needs to have advanced knowledge in image processing including image workflow, archiving, auto routing, working with principle investigators and their teams to plan, design and interpret innovative research by applying image post-processing pipelines. Works collaboratively with Country and Regional Operations; Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, Global Medical Affairs, and Global Human Health internally; and with external functional outsourcing vendors. The position requires coordination and alignment with the regional and broader organization.
MD or PhD required in associated scientific discipline. Clinical trial operational experience. Oncology required. RECIST and solid tumor assessment criteria experience, strong written and oral communication skills. At least 5 years research experience in oncology imaging in all tumor types. At least 5 years experience in neuroimaging, including advanced applications of MRI such as perfusion, diffusion and spectroscopy. At least 2 years of experience in autologous Xenograft tumor cell injection in mice (brain tumor cells). At least 2 years experience in preclinical cancer models with special emphasis on development of innovative brain tumor models and brain tumor imaging applications. At least 3 years experience in medical imaging post-processing and advanced analysis such as texture feature extraction and radiomics.

Hiring Range: $46,644.00 - $76,440.00
