The Administrative Coordinator for Digital Engagement will manage projects and processes for the Digital Engagement team, which is a leg of alumni relations focused on broadening the resources and programs available to Wharton alumni and ensuring that the online experience is convenient and relevant.
The Administrative Coordinator will manage projects and processes including but not limited to the Wharton Webinar Series, creating content, building apps and registrations using the Cvent platform for our flagship events, and other online programs. The incumbent will also serve in a leadership capacity on our help desk team, serving thousands of alumni each year via phone and email. The Coordinator reports to the Senior Associate Director of Digital Engagement, and works collaboratively as a member of the Alumni Relations team and the larger Coordinator team across External Affairs to assist with team and office-wide needs, including but not limited to:
Update and maintain the alumni relations web presence, including overseeing the alumni LinkedIn group, making content updates to alumni websites, and managing the creation of mobile apps.
Manage marketing and execution of the Wharton Webinar Series.
Serve as a lead member of the alumni relations help desk team.
Participate in the management of the NationBuilder website platform, including providing support and training to club volunteers.
Provide administrative and event support for other team activities.
A High School Diploma or GED and 5 years to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required, bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
1 to 3 years' experience in customer service environment highly desired. - Demonstrates a high level of comfort with technology and willingness and ability to learn new platforms.
Demonstrated knowledge of Office Suite, strong excel skills required. Working knowledge of Adobe creative suite desired.
Excellent project management, writing, and communication skills.
Ability to gather and articulate user requirements between functional users and technical staff.
Experience in serving volunteer organizations and understanding of volunteer perspective.
Must be detail oriented and able to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
Understanding of international cultures, confidence and maturity to work with senior business alumni.
Effective at handling international and domestic relationships remotely.
Valid driver's license required.
