A small, award-winning association management company, based in West Palm Beach, FL, is seeking a career-minded individual who is energetic, detailed-orientated, dedicated, and understands the importance of serving others. The candidate should also have a strong work ethic, good people skills, and integrity.
DUTIES: The successful candidate will be involved in membership services, database maintenance, meeting and conference planning; website/mobile app coordination, social media, and the use of technology; marketing and public relations; along with some advertising sales, general administrative services, proof reading, and clerical duties. Some travel required. Advertising layout, newsletter page layout, and sales experience a plus but not required!
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Establish and maintain customer relationships. Ensure member satisfaction. Direct sales of client services and membership benefits to the post-acute-care segment of the health-care continuum. Prepare status reports. Prepare bank deposits. Maintain databases.
The person who fills this position will work closely with the president/executive director. Must be able to handle all requests, internal and external, efficiently, courteously, and professionally. Must be able to prioritize and organize workflow so all deadlines are met. Room for future advancement.
SKILLS NEEDED: Must have working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel or Access. Familiarity with Associated Press style manual, Adobe Creative Suite including PhotoShop, also a plus. Must have excellent customer-services skills. Must be outgoing, friendly, and well-spoken.Must have good communication and negotiation skills. Must have project and deadline management experience. Must be able to pay attention to accuracy and detail. Must have experience in developing and maintaining a satisfied customer base. Must be very self-motivated, driven, and teachable.
