The Firmwide Business Resiliency (FBR) group within the Chief Administrative Office is responsible for ensuring the adequacy of the firm's resiliency.
FBR is responsible for determining the firm's resiliency strategy, including setting the standards and analyzing the data necessary to articulate a risk-based view of the firm's resiliency capabilities. The FBR team works as part of a consolidated virtual organization with Business Resiliency teams and Technology Resiliency teams to execute against the firm's resiliency strategy.
Resiliency is a fast evolving space with exciting new changes in the horizon. FBR is at the center of it all, helping the firm adapt to concepts like Operational Resiliency, Impact Tolerance and End to End Testing.
FBR is seeking a Lead for Business Resiliency Testing to manage the development and execution of the Testing Program. The ideal candidate should be execution oriented with the ability to immerse themselves in the overall program demand & business needs. The candidate must demonstrate exceptional organizational skills with ability to plan, design, conduct, and assess exercises / tests to deliver high-quality events that produce business impactful results.
The lead will report into the Head of FBR Testing to develop & prioritize strategic objectives, effectively communicate the approach and manage the execution of the end-to-end testing plan.
Key Responsibilities include:
Leading FBR's Testing Program as an Exercise / Test Event Manager.
Program Planning and Management
Working with functional, LOB and regional stakeholders to understand key business resiliency testing needs, and translate those into a clear demand and book of work for the testing program
Responsible for the effective planning, design, conduct, and evaluation of both internal and external resiliency exercises / tests
Providing leadership for all aspects of exercise / test project management across the four phases of the planning cycle (i.e., plan, design, conduct, and assess) to include scheduling meetings, reserving venues, facilitating discussions, and providing senior leader project updates
Coordinating with key stakeholders across the firm to develop tailored test and exercise scenarios that achieve key business, technology, and incident response objectives
Conducting post-exercise after-action reporting and assessment, synthesizing corrective actions and designing future exercises to validate improvements
Experience in planning, designing, executing and assessing tests / exercises
Experience in designing, implementing and managing complex enterprise-wide risk initiatives
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong ability to build relationships, including fostering a collaborative, positive work environment with stakeholders and peers
Strong skills in communication, presentation and ability to moderate large meetings
Confident and experienced with handling communications with senior management
Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Business or Technology Resiliency / Crisis Management / Risk Management a plus
