Strong small animal hospital with an amazing culture seeks experienced veterinarian or strong new graduate
This progressive privately owned small animal hospital, Bull Head Pet Hospital, is seeking a new or recent graduate who is looking for a comfortable, family-like atmosphere where working is not just a job, it’s a passion. Our two veterinarians, Dr. Steve, and Dr. Nolan are progressive veterinarians who love to teach. We are located less than forty miles NE of NYC in Stamford, Connecticut (125,000 pop). With a vibrant downtown, gorgeous beaches and a strong public school system, one recent reviewer said, “I think it is the perfect place to raise a family.” One of the chief focuses of their practice is caring for our staff of 25. Additional CES, training, attention to each as a person is important to them. One technician shared the when she needed last-minute surgery, Dr. Steve called several times to make sure she was okay. One tech said, “working here is not just a job, it feels like family.”
About our practice:
- Flexible Schedule with 3-day weekends,
-Take the time to really work-up a patient (60 minutes scheduled for new patients and 30 minutes for follow-ups),
-Digital radiology both whole body and dental, 2 ultrasounds, 3 anesthesia machines, In-house diagnostics, and lab equipment (chemistry and blood analysis),
-Collaborate with nearby emergency/specialty hospital,
-Strongly committed staff with little turnover,
-Education and training are important values,
-Everyone has a great time together at the hospital and socially off-site. Once a quarter we do a social event: sunset cocktail party, go-carting to name a few,
-Computerized with very little paper,
