ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF ALUMNI EXPERIENCE , Sloan School of Management , to manage Reunion Weekend and oversee a wide range of alumni engagement events. Will be responsible for all programmatic elements of multiple events and collaborate with the director, other Office of External Relations (OER) departments, MIT Sloan offices, and offices across all of MIT, including the MIT Alumni Association. Responsibilities will include reunion volunteer management and strategy; implementing new processes for recruitment, training, support, and collaboration; working with the director to initiate and propose strategy for alumni engagement through volunteerism and events in support of the mission of Sloan and in alignment with the strategy of OER; leading the implementation of systems to support event management, including technology, writing pre and post-event materials, and streamlining processes to create robust programming and engagement; developing measures to report ROI of engagement and oversee an assistant director and administrative assistant.
REQUIRED : bachelor's degree; at least three years' experience; comfort working with MBA alumni volunteers and donors; excellent event planning, analytical, strategic thinking, project management, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to develop trusted partnerships with staff; initiative; attention to detail; and proficiency with alumni databases, Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint.
