Extensive clinical pharmacy services within an integrated department provide residents with active preceptorship in ambulatory care (primary care, infectious diseases or psychiatry), critical care (burn, medical/pulmonary or trauma/surgical), internal medicine, infectious diseases (antimicrobial stewardship or acute care consults), cardiology, emergency medicine, information services, general surgery/anesthesia, oncology/hematology, and inpatient psychiatry. Residents participate in the Indiana Pharmacy Teaching Certificate Program and have didactic and/or experiential teaching opportunities with Purdue University College of Pharmacy or Butler University College of Pharmacy. Residents develop mastery of pharmacy operations through inpatient staffing every third weekend, and develop leadership and project management skills through research, practice management, medication use process and committee co-chair experiences.
Requirements for application:
PharmD from ACPE accredited program or FPGEC from NABP
Eligibility for licensure in Indiana
Pharmacy School GPA> 3.0
BLS prior to start date
