Directs and oversees the strategy and resources associated with cash management, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as a part of an overall financial reporting department for real estate clients. Builds and maintains strong relationships with banking and other financial institutions needed to provide services to CBRE's clients. Implements policies and procedures and ensures compliance with internal and external transaction-based requirements. Provides oversight, direction, and guidance on highly visible and complex process improvement initiatives. Oversees the department's financial performance through budgeting, analysis and interpretation of business trends.
Acts as the primary contact for bank relationship managers with all institutions utilized by the department. Drives negotiations with bank partners for services, pricing, and process. Reviews a variety of banking and other business documents. Provides expert comments and guidance regarding cash management issues.
Identifies client and business needs for improving services. Sets strategic direction for national cash management initiatives
Oversees the development and analyzes KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for cash management and financial operations teams to ensure team metrics are being met. Reports to executive leadership on the effectiveness of the metrics and provides recommendations for changes. Identifies business trends and proactively adjusts resource plans.
Serves as a member of the sales team representing Client Accounting Services in the pursuit of new business. Develops responses to RFPs and attends and participates in sales pitches to present accounting solutions. Works directly with clients on transition of new work and consulting services on banking and financial operations related projects. Maintains professional knowledge through industry conferences and networking.
Partners with other department leaders to develop strategies related to improving services for our clients and enhancing processes for employees. Develops strategies for better utilization of technology to streamline Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Cash Management functions.
Ensures projects are completed within a given timeframe and budget. Responsible for setting/managing department deadlines and goals.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or Master's degree in a related field of work or equivalent work experience. Typically has 10-15 years of related experience and/or training. A minimum of 8 years of progressive management experience.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Lean Six Sigma Green, Orange or Black Belt certification preferred. Project management training and/or certification preferred.

Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups.
