Purpose: Reporting to the Director AML/ATF Risk, the Senior Manager will contribute to the overall success of the training and advisory initiatives to promote a positive culture of AML/ATF and sanctions risk management and compliance across International Banking ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed and delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Support development & implementation of Enterprise-wide AML/ATF Training Program & Communications strategy
Manage & analyze annual training needs assessment, compile results assist tracking/monitoring of the annual AML Training Plan
Monitor progress against annual AML plan, prepare timely reporting training activities management, including progress reports
Work with Enterprise Policy Office, 1st & 2nd lines of defense units to provide coordinated programs to International sites in order to obtain data from businesses to create consolidated reports for (Management, committees and the Board).
Work with Business Line AML Officers and AML/ATF Operations Units (including FIUs) to arrange any supplemental or other (non-standardized) AML/ATF training including ad-hoc training required.
Support International Banking initiatives, development and maintenance of ad hoc AML/ATF training programs.
Maintain a repository of specialized training resources.
Review reports from Internal Audit, regulatory examinations, other reviews, work with Management of the local business units/support units in the preparation and follow-up of action plans to ensure that identified training gap issues are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Provide oversight and coordination to the International Banking AML Teams (2nd line function) as required
Provide ongoing counsel and support in all AML/ATF related matters including the assessment of new products/services, programs, business initiatives and distribution channels.
Develop and maintain AML/ATF procedures and ensure that these meet the legal and regulatory requirements in all jurisdictions where international Banking operates
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or education
Minimum 2 years experience in financial services, preferably in AML compliance & AML training or related field
Strong communications, organizational, project management and planning skills.
Ability to research viable solutions through existing departments in the Bank or external vendor partners.
Strong knowledge of project planning and tracking techniques and methodologies and market trends.
Advanced knowledge of related regulatory requirements including KYC, AML/ATF Policies, legislation and procedures.
Strong knowledge and ability to work with graphics and interactions in Microsoft Office or other software
