Investment Operations is one of the infrastructure pillars supporting Income's multi asset investment portfolios of over $36 billion. Partnering other departments across the Company and key providers, Investment Operations provides operational oversight and support throughout the investment lifecycle.
The primary role of this position is to manage projects, initiatives and business applications supporting Income's multi-asset investment portfolios. We are looking for a strong, analytical and hands-on self-starter, who is keen to develop a deep understanding of the business, to work closely with vendors, internal teams and stakeholders in supporting business requirements and growth.
Drive the delivery of Investment related projects and initiatives through the entire lifecycle
Drive the development and implementation of end to end solutions and process improvements to meet business requirements, improve efficiency and effectiveness
Partner closely with Investment Operations team to strengthen the controls which includes:
full adoption of the change management framework, governance standards and tools
deliver IV Ops change scope feeding into the respective projects undertaken by the organization, by collaborating with relevant project team and various cross functional teams
Drive stakeholders' management to manage expectations and clearly communicate status, risks and remediation plans
Manage the day to day business support scope handled by Investment IT team which includes but is not limited to the following:
Systems BAU support
Engage with relevant IT teams representing business users
Perform system attestation (security and testing) with Enterprise IT, IT Risk Management and vendor
Manage relationship and engagement with vendors
Application Development and Implementation of changes
Ensure relevant risk and control requirements are met
Minimum 10 years relevant experience in financial industry
Diploma or Degree holder in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.
Certifications in project / program / portfolio management (E.g. PSM, PMP, CITPM, PRINCE2, PgMP, MSP, MoP) would be preferred
Experienced in project management & delivery in financial institutions, Excellent organisational skills and experience working in a fast pace environment with a capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform and always work with a customer focused approach.
Self-motivated, strong team player who is able to work independently and meticulous
Solid project management, change management and facilitation skills.
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to think and act strategically, think out of the box with a constant lookout for leading industry practice
Excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing key stakeholders and vendors to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes.
