Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will work closely with the equity derivative product and sales teams to develop and execute the client marketing strategy covering the entire range of field marketing activities from demand generation, product launches, marketing campaigns and events. The remit of the marketing manager will be to develop and implement marketing campaigns focusing on driving engagement and education of retail and institutional investors, expanding distribution channels and leveraging appropriate marketing channels to promote HKEX product line-up.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Liaise with VP of Marketing and business leads to agree on marketing priorities and campaigns to influence the target market
Plan, develop and execute annual client marketing strategy in collaboration with the business development team across appropriate marketing channels including but not limited to events, email, social media, advertising to achieve marketing objectives
Be the subject matter expert and primary contact for marketing efforts specifically relevant to business development initiatives
Oversee site inspection and selection of venue locations
Develop targeted and effective marketing campaigns to increase interest and participation in the Hong Kong Derivatives and Securities market Implement channel product & marketing and sales promotion activities to support channel(s) in achieving sales target Develop, customise and review communication, product and marketing collateral/sales tools/training materials for business partners to support their promotion of our product and services offering Develop post-campaign tracking reports to measure return on marketing investment to improve future marketing campaigns
Manage marketing budget and ensure affective delivery of marketing services
Work with closely with corporate communications, legal and compliance to ensure adherence to HKEX standards
Manage the progress of deliverables to ensure timely and quality delivery Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by immediate manager in order to meet business requirement
At least 7 years' of related working experience in financial services
Basic knowledge of the derivatives and securities market preferred
Hands-on experience in digital marketing is preferred
A natural ability to innovate, develop and execute on marketing strategies
Detail-minded, sales-driven with good interpersonal skills and high level of accuracy Experience devising and running marketing campaigns is required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing or Communications or related field required
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin would be a plus.
