Manages, creates, evaluates and supports revenue forecasts, measurements and customer programs. Analyzes competitive landscapes and strategic business opportunities. Analyzes and forecasts business demands, develops business plans, and supports operational planning.
The successful candidate will lead a team of analysts to be responsible for the development, execution and measurement of General Rate Increases, Pricing Logic Changes and other key revenue initiatives for FedEx Freight, to achieve business goals of the OpCo and different business and customer segments, including revenue, volume, yield and profit. Knowledge & Skills Considered a Plus:
Proven knowledge of FedEx Freight operations
Demonstrated knowledge of Pricing systems, databases, and processes of FedEx Freight
Experience in leading large scale complex data analytics/modeling
Experience in leading key corporate initiatives in development and implementation of business strategy and system infrastructure
Proven ability to apply information technology in developing and implementing data science solutions
Proven ability to develop relationship with business partners in different functional areas and OpCos

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business, mathematics, economics, computer science or other quantitative fields such as engineering/operations research. Five (5) years work experience in one of the above fields or other quantitative field, in an analytical, quantitative or technical role. Project management experience. International, air freight, pricing or package transportation industry experience. Four (4) years work experience with the following skills: computer aided decision support (utilize computer languages or packages to analyze data and generate reports, presentations or insights in one of the above fields), SAS, SQL, Unix or any fourth-generation programming language. Strong human relations, communications and analytical skills. A related Master's Degree equals two (2) years experience. More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements.
