The University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) is seeking a Business Analyst, CRM in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Reporting to the CRM Manager, this position will provide data management and data analysis for the department. This position will also conduct research and develop enrollment reports that will be used to monitor key performance indicators and allow the department to be responsive to internal and external factors impacting enrollment.
The Business Analyst, CRM is an important member of UMSL's Enrollment Management Team and works closely with personnel in Admissions, Financial Aid, Registration and Marketing. This position will focus on mining and analyzing data related to new student enrollment efforts and continuing student retention efforts, including analyzing data on the recruitment of new freshmen and new transfer students, both domestic and international. This position will produce regular reports on admissions to the CRM Manager and Director of Admissions, and will be the lead in reporting undergraduate admissions numbers to the University of Missouri System offices. This position will also create reports on return on investment for various recruitment and retention initiatives by comparing data on results to cost of various programs.
Database research (Slate/Peoplesoft/AIM/EIS/NSC, for example), reporting and analysis for university and external constituents.
Create enrollment reports as needed for the Office of Admissions and the Division of Enrollment Management and its constituents, including the Provost's Office, the Chancellor's Office, the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Operations, UM System Offices, and Missouri Department of Higher Education, for example.
Create other reports that include new and continuing students as required, or collaborate with other offices to do Institutional Research including creating such reports.
Coordinate data requirements for external consultants (currently Ruffalo Noel Levitz, for example).
Design and develop surveys for data collection and evaluation studies for different departments on- and off-campus related to Admissions and Enrollment Management and analyze the data received.
Present created reports publicly as needed on campus.
Represent Admissions and EM Division on campus committees
Technical report writing.
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Project management experience, education, or certification.
