The Water Environment Federation (WEF) is seeking a Senior Manager, Exhibition Sales Responsible for WEFTEC exhibition sales, onsite rebook process, floorplan development, prospecting new leads that lead to increased sales revenue. (WEFTEC is the annual exhibition and conference for the wastewater treatment industry, featuring 300,000+ nsf of exhibits, 1,000+ exhibiting companies and extensive technical programming.)
Is responsible for WEFTEC floorplan development, booth space sales and assignments.
Works closely with International Sales Director on bookings for international exhibitors and overseas pavilions.
Collaborates with Senior Manager, Exhibition Operations on sponsorship development and pricing for WEFTEC and Specialty Conferences.
Collaborates with Marketing on the development of WEFTEC exhibition and sponsorship marketing plans.
Collaborates with Exhibition Operations and Conference Operations staff for budgeting and execution of WEF Exhibitions with focus on revenue growth, cost savings, WEF branding, member value and innovation.
Works closely with Finance and handles revenue collection outreach to exhibitors with unpaid balances and exhibitor membership renewals.
Identifies and evaluates new and emerging event technology, assesses viability and executes application as appropriate.
Visits competitive conferences to market WEFTEC.
Assists in risk management assessment and mitigation relating to WEF Exhibitions.
Directs and implements WEFTEC Onsite Sales booth rebooking process.
Travel to WEFTEC and other exhibitions is required.

4-year degree, plus 3-5 years exhibition sales/operations experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite of products and Exhibition Management systems (such as Expocad, A2Z, or Map Your Show).
Ability to travel up to 20% of the year.

This person will work primarily in an office environment using standard office equipment.
Experience in a large non-profit association or federated organization environment.
Experience in global business development and/or regional sales models.

Knowledge, degree, and/or experience in business or management.
