Summary:The Directorof Digital Experience will design and direct the Cook Children's digitalexperience strategy. The Director is responsible for the successful planning,execution and ongoing enhancement of all Cook Children's digital applicationsand technology. The role requires a deep understanding of how digital can beused to enhance the patient, clinician, and employee experience. The rolerequires collaboration with physicians, department heads, marketing, publicrelations, telehealth and patient experience leadership. The Director reportsdirectly to the CIO and directs the work of the project leadership and staff intheir respective applications/departments. The Director maintains the scope andwork plan and ensures that all milestones and deliverables are on time andbudget. The Director is tasked with the internal communication of projectstrategies, high level deliverables, plans, and schedules. Ensures all outcomesand deliverables meet organizational goals, objectives and quality standards.Major responsibilities include the definition, adoption and consistentexecution of system requirements, communication, change management, issuesmanagement, and post-implementation support. S/he must propose measures ofsuccess and targeted outcomes and execution strategies. After successfulimplementation the Director will continue to manage the ongoing digitalinitiatives through implementation and support.
Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field and five yearsmanagement experience required. Master's degree preferred
EPIC experience required (specifically My Chart, On-linescheduling, EpiCare Link, Telehealth) and certification preferred
Experience with deployment of digital and mobile applicationtechnologies required
Minimum 3+ years' experience in Application Management,Project Management, Vendor and Contract Management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong political acumen, diplomacy, and emotionalintelligence
Experience with process improvement methodologies such asLean Six Sigma.
Must have sound knowledge of the health care environment andapplications.
Strong supervision and management skills
