Job Summary: The Program Manager provides oversight and planning for the development, implementation, and delivery of a program(s).
Additional Department Summary: "Operation Deep Dive" will identify and examine risk factors, particularly at the organizational and community levels, for early mortality and suicide among military veterans in two phases across four years.
Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and three years of project management experience in a social services or research field; or Master’s degree and one year of project management experience in a social services or research field.
Skills and Knowledge: General management knowledge, including leadership, communication, negotiation, and team building skills. Project management knowledge, including superior organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications: A Master's Degree and 5 years of experience, including professional experience with suicide, suicide prevention, military veterans and their families. Applicants with a military background and current ties with the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense are preferred. We are looking for a Project Director with high integrity who is confident with a positive, pro-active attitude and approach. Project Management Experience is also preferred.
