The Application Developer delivers solutions for business needs. This includes designing, coding, simulation, testing, implementation and maintenance of application software and associated middleware; interfaces and databases in highly complex solutions. May work with vendor delivered software. Will interact directly with functional clients and vendors. He/she ensures adherence to technical, quality assurance, data integrity, and security standards. May plan, organize and manage projects and associated schedules.
The Enterprise Infrastructure Services group at the School of Nursing is seeking a technical and highly motivated individual to fill the role of Application Developer. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive array of technical knowledge, with experience in all phases of the SDLC. Design, test and deliver new system solutions to meet organizational needs; develop and support the schoolâ™s websites, applications, and databases. Design and develop innovative solutions to streamline workflows and provide development support for future projects working in collaboration with the IT team and key stakeholders including faculty, students and staff. Build and maintain strategic, high-level relationships across the School and University to leverage resources and maintain knowledge of new or emerging technologies and solutions. Participate in relevant School and University teams, committees, task forces and special interest groups.
